Ella's Take on Fruit

"Mommy, I'm going to take these apples and take them in the bathroom and fill the sink up with water and put them in the water and then they will be so juicy and yummy in my tummy. Mmmmm mmmm mmmm."

And with that she headed off to juicify her fruit. I heard her pull her stool over to the sink, turn the water on and pull up the stopper. She gave her apples a bath for about a minute or so and then pranced back in the kitchen cradling pieces of apple wrapped up in a towel and muttering to herself, "Mmmm, mmm, mmm. They will be so juicy, won't they? Oh, yes!"

"Ella, how does fruit get juicy?" "Well, farmers pick the fruit and then they put it in the sink and turn the water on so that it sucks all the water up and makes them mmmmm juicy." Duh.
