Ella Turns Three
My first born turned three today. What a big year it's been for her! Allow me to recap some of her accomplishments.
This year Ella:
learned how to use the potty... most of the time (A Really Crappy Day, Personal Port-O-Potty);
saw her first movie on the big screen, and loudly gave a running commentary of the whole thing, just in case anyone in the theater couldn't figure out what was going on;
was a flower girl in a good friend's wedding, where she insisted upon carrying a florescent plastic pony down the aisle and yelled as she approached my pew, "Mommy, I'm almost done!";
actually grew some hair (which her sister now pulls out by the handful) and got her first haircut
started sleeping in a big girl bed, and makes it her life's goal to vacate it at the most inopportune times(While you were sleeping, While you weren't sleeping);
got a baby sister, whom she calls her "best friend";
learned about the Easter Bunny (Regarding the Easter Bunny);
started drawing people with actual heads, from which arms and legs sprout;
lightened the load during a very difficult time (Parting Gift, Mother's Day);
and
was a joy and a blessing in our lives, for whom we will alway be grateful.
We love you, baby girl!
YAY Ella!! Happy birthday! We can't wait to celelbrate with you back here ;-)
